Refund and Cancellation Policy
Effective date:
This policy applies to consumer purchases from Path of the Nine. Statutory cancellation and refund rights vary by country or territory, and this policy does not limit rights that applicable law says cannot be excluded.
Single readings
A single paid reading currently costs £1.99 unless a different price is clearly displayed before purchase.
- You may request a refund at any time before generation begins.
- Before immediate generation begins, we will ask for your express request for immediate digital delivery. Where a statutory cooling-off or cancellation right can be lost when digital-content supply begins, including the UK 14-day right where it applies, we will also ask for the required acknowledgement. The control will be unticked by default.
- If generation fails, the reading will not be treated as consumed and you can retry.
- If the service continues to fail and cannot deliver the purchased reading within a reasonable time, we will refund it.
- Once a reading has been successfully generated, we do not normally give a refund merely because you changed your mind or disliked the interpretation.
- If the reading was not supplied as agreed, was defective, or another statutory remedy applies, we will provide the remedy required by law.
Subscriptions
You may cancel a subscription at any time through Manage membership or by emailing support@pathofthenine.com. Ordinary cancellation prevents the next renewal and access continues until the end of the current paid billing period.
Depending on where you live, a new subscription may carry a statutory cooling-off or cancellation right. For UK consumers, this can include a 14-day cancellation period. If you have not successfully generated or used any paid reading or other paid digital benefit, we will provide a full refund when applicable law requires it. If you asked us to start the service during an applicable cancellation period and used paid benefits, we will assess the refund according to the service supplied and your legal rights; we do not promise a full refund where the law permits a proportionate charge.
As a goodwill policy, if a subscription renewed accidentally, contact us within 48 hours of the renewal. If no paid reading or other paid benefit has been used after that renewal, we will normally refund the renewal payment and cancel the subscription.
Account deletion
Deleting your account immediately cancels any active subscription, stops further renewal charges and ends access to subscription features immediately. Account deletion does not itself create an automatic refund. The rights and goodwill rules above still apply.
Incorrect or duplicate charges
We will refund a confirmed duplicate or incorrect charge. If you do not recognise a payment, contact support@pathofthenine.com promptly so we can investigate. You may also have rights through your payment provider or card issuer.
How to request a cancellation or refund
Email support@pathofthenine.com from the email address connected to your account. Include:
- your account email address;
- the purchase date;
- the transaction or invoice reference, if available; and
- a short explanation of the request.
Do not email full card details. We may ask for limited information needed to locate the payment and verify the request. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. The time taken to appear depends on the payment provider and your bank.
